The Mid-South Chapter is a dynamic chapter consisting of insurance professionals and associates from a six state area including Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The Chapter hosts an Annual conference each fall which rotates among various locations in the six-state area. Our next conference is scheduled for November 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2010 at the Downtown Marriott in Louisville, KY. The Annual Conference is a great way to get significant education credits in a relaxed atmosphere, at a very reasonable price, while enjoying tremendous opportunities to network with your colleagues. We hope you can join our exciting group as both a member and volunteer. Our goal is to have no dues requirements and to keep our conference costs reasonable. We would welcome your input as we learn and grow together. Please feel free to contact any of our officers at your convenience. We look forward to seeing you in Louisville, KY. This year’s conference will get started with keynote speaker, Dr. Donald Ratajczak, a nationally known consulting economist for Morgan Keegan and one of the leading econometric forecasters in the country. Additional education topics will include an NAIC Update, FASB/SEC Update, Investment Issues, Social Media and other exciting topics. We will be offering 12 hours of CPE credits. In addition to the education opportunities, there will be plenty of time to meet our exhibitors and network with your colleagues. We are planning an optional golf outing for the afternoon of the 8th (Monday) for those interested. We will have a welcome reception on Monday night followed by education sessions on Tuesday and on Wednesday until noon. There will also be a reception & dinner on Tuesday night at the hotel.
