The Metro NY/NJ chapter was established to serve primarily insurance professionals within the financial services sector of the New York City metropolitan area. The Chapter presents unique opportunities for training, professional development and networking. Presently, the chapter holds a fall meeting in late September and a winter meeting in early December.
These are half-day meetings with the intent of earning 3-4 CPE credits. The biggest event for the chapter is the annual golf outing held near the third week in May. The morning activity focuses on training including professional development with the afternoon slated for fun and pleasure.
Attendees enjoy 18 holes of golf followed by an awards ceremony and reception. Attendance at events ranges from 50 • 100 members with vendor participation and sponsorship encouraged and recognized. The chapter is young and offers many opportunities for volunteering. Interested persons should contact the Chapter President.
