Dear IASA Community,

After careful consideration of the ongoing impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and carefully weighing all options, the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) has made the decision to cancel IASA2020 in St. Louis and move forward with a virtual conference.

Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our members, attendees, and ultimately our community is paramount, and serves as the reason for our decision to cancel the IASA Annual Conference. Put simply, canceling the IASA Annual Conference is the right thing to do during this historic time.

IASA Leadership arrived at this difficult decision after consulting with speakers, vendors, exhibitors, and other conference participants, and gathering information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, City of St. Louis Department of Health, and other public health authorities. Ultimately ongoing health concerns regarding the coronavirus, travel and other restrictions made it impossible for us to hold the in-person Conference at this time. 

While we acknowledge that a virtual conference may not be the best option for some, we want everyone to know that foremost in making this decision is IASA’s core purpose and mission: Advancing the Knowledge of Insurance Professionals. The virtual conference will offer a significant number of CPE credit hours and feature timely topics related to the impact of COVID-19 on our business community, making it a must attend event. 

We will be communicating specific information in the next several days to those who have registered, planned to exhibit, and/or sponsor our Conference.  In the meantime, we have assembled some Important FAQs to help answer your immediate questions. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we were considering the rapidly changing circumstances and the safety and wellbeing of not just our Conference participants and staff, but their families, friends, and colleagues as well.
