How will everything work with COVID-19 and safety protocols?

Safety is a top priority for all IASA attendees, exhibitors, staff and guests.  We are working closely with the city of New Orleans and the Ernest Morial Convention Center to ensure we follow their COVID protocols. Anyone entering the convention center will be required to have their temperature checked and wristbands will be distributed indicating you are symptom free. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue and frequent cleaning in high-touch areas every two hours on-site. There will be social distancing guidelines utilizing one-way aisles, signage, and floor markings among other efforts to manage the flow of traffic in and out of meeting and exhibit halls and around the venue.

•Practice frequent washing of hands.
•You will be required to wear a mask while in the convention center and whenever you encounter others in public.
•Monitor your own symptoms related to health. If you don’t feel well, please stay home.
•Keep a six-foot distance from others

Compliance with some or all of the protocols adopted by IASA may be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference. Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by you, will be communicated to attendees prior to the first day of the conference.
Please visit the EMCC Health and Safety web page for further details.

Will there be any special events at conference events?
Yes, we are still developing the program and will have announcements as special events are confirmed.
