Introducing IASA's Second Annual Emerging Leaders

IASA is pleased to announce its "Top 30 Under 30" program, which will recognize 30 outstanding young insurance professionals from IASA member companies that represent a variety of functional business and technology areas. 

Nominations have been extended until Friday, April 20, 2018. The Top 30 will be notified after judging has been completed, and will be announced in the Spring Pre-Conference Issue of the Interpreter. Winners will be asked to provide a photo and answer a few questions, and will receive recognition in the Interpreter, on the IASA website and at the Annual Conference in June.

Nominees must be: 
  • Age 30 or under as of 12/31/2017
  • Employed full-time by a Carrier, MGA, Agent, Broker, or Vendor in the insurance space that is an IASA member company

What We Are Looking For

Nominees who will be considered must have one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Demonstrable Positive Impact on the Business (affected revenue/operating income/earnings in their capacity, etc.)
  • Introduction/Use of Cutting Edge Tech
  • Creativity related to New Business Processes
  • Drives Positive Change (change-making via project management - describe results of a key initiative)
  • Successful Outreach Within the Enterprise (team-building/ influence/ leadership)
  • Successful Outreach Outside the Enterprise (philanthropic, mentorship)

Selection Process

All nominations received by the deadline will be reviewed by IASA’s Membership & Industry Relations Committee for completion and eligibility. The final Top 30 will then be selected by a committee comprised of the Young Professionals sub-committee and the VP of Membership & Industry Relations.
