AI In Insurance Operations: Failures, Wins, and a Playbook for New Use Cases
This webinar will provide a skeptical optimist's overview of the emerging role of AI in insurance operations. In the face of increasing media buzz AND skepticism, this talk seeks to provide attendees with a sensible mental model for how to evaluate use cases at their organization that are well suited for AI automation (and perhaps more critically which ones are NOT suited for it). To do this, we'll go over real case studies of deployment failures and wins, and through them we'll lay out a repeatable playbook leaders can use to successfully deploy AI in their org while managing the risks.
Learning Objectives:
- Differentiate between AI deployment approaches that succeeded in insurance operations and those that did not, based on real case studies.
- Recognize the characteristics of insurance operations that are poorly suited for AI automation based on real case studies and hard lessons learned.
- Determine whether a given back-office process at any organization is a strong candidate for AI automation using the evaluation framework presented.
