Laurie Macklosky, President 

Laurie Macklosky is AVP of Execution at The Hartford and has a proven track record in successful execution of large scale multi-year, multi-million dollar projects and programs using expertise in various methodologies (Agile/Lean/SAFe, Waterfall/Incremental).  Laurie was most recently 2nd Vice President and Execution Lead for Business Insurance at Travelers and her previous roles have included organizational redesign and competency build. Laurie has been an IASA volunteer for over 10 years, most recently holding the positions of VP of Executive Education, CIO and President-Elect. She lives in Bristol CT with her husband, Rick and two children.

Kerry Crockett,CEO

Kerry Crockett is the CEO of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association, Inc.  She has previously served as the Executive Director for the US and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Society for Pediatric Pathology and the Society for Hematopathology where she guided strategic plans to success, assisted in product development and launched new programs that assisted pathologists in underserved countries. Kerry has served on numerous city client advisory boards, task forces and the PCMA Board of Directors. She is a Certified Association Executive, a Certified Meeting Professional, and a Digital Event Strategist.  Kerry holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  Kerry is an avid animal lover and humane society volunteer in Georgia where she lives with her wonderful husband, William and two rescue pups, Bella and Cora. 


Scott McEntee, President-Elect

Scott is currently Senior Vice President of Accounting and Assistant Treasurer at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa, the 4th largest crop insurance company in the nation.  He is responsible for the accounting and reporting functions as well as Enterprise Risk Management programs for the Farmers Mutual Hail Group of Companies. He is a national and local speaker on the topic of ERM for insurance companies.  Prior to joining FMH Scott was the Director of Statutory reporting for the US operations of Aviva USA. Scott has over 30 years of experience in P&C, life, managed care, and banking industries. He has held various leadership positions throughout his career and with the IASA’s Midwest Chapter; he has been a national volunteer for 6 years. Scott sits on the Board of Directors of Iowa’s “Global Insurance Accelerator” and is also a mentor to startup companies and entrepreneurs participating in the program. Scott has served as VP-Membership, VP-Publications and most recently CFO for IASA.  Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and has numerous designations from the Insurance Institute of America.  Scott lives in Grimes, Iowa with his wife Sue, and 3 sons.

Jason Nickles,Treasurer

Jason Nickles is currently an AVP and Assistant Controller for Western & Southern Financial Group in Cincinnati, OH. Jason has volunteered at his local chapter since 2007 and has served as President. Jason has previously served as a member of the Membership and Chapter Advisory Committees as well as Co-Chair of the Volunteer Development Mentoring Program and Chair of the Insurance Accounting, Risk Management and Finance Education Program Committee. Most recently he served as VP-Volunteer Development, VP-e-Learning, CIO and for the 2020-2021 year will serve as Treasurer. He has a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio. Jason lives in Cincinnati with his wife Emily and his daughter Addison.


Kristine Weber - VP-8 Phases

Kristine Weber a Senior Vice President, Accounting & Claims Manager with reinsurance intermediary BMS Re US. She also holds the title of Registered Operations Professional for BMS Capital Advisory, Inc.
She currently manages the team of Accounting & Claims analysts on day to day client activities as part of the Client Reinsurance Operations group at BMS.  Kristine works on all insurance lines of business including workers’ compensation & property/casualty and has a focus in handling specialty casualty business including professional liability and medical malpractice accounts.  She has been involved in many IT related initiatives including system implementation & conversion projects as well as developing system metric & reporting solutions.  Kristine has been in the reinsurance industry for 15+ years and has worked for other reinsurance intermediaries including Benfield, John B. Collins, and Guy Carpenter.  Kristine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Risk & Insurance from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, as well as a securities license, Series 99. She lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband, Jon and has five children. 

Claire Burke, VP-Business Show

As Vice President, Finance and Treasurer, Claire Burke oversees all of the operations for Dearborn Group’s Finance organization, including accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, tax and financial systems. Ms. Burke also is responsible for the Analytics, Risk Management and Strategic Planning functions at Dearborn Group, including facilitating strategy implementation and monitoring and reporting on the execution of the company’s initiatives.  Ms. Burke joined Dearborn Group in 2009 as Director of Corporate Planning and Development. She has 21 years of experience in financial, risk management and strategy roles within the insurance industry. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Finance and Compliance Management at Dearborn Group and prior to joining Dearborn Group was Director of Financial Initiatives at Health Care Service Corporation. Ms. Burke also held management roles at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Ms. Burke earned a master’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in management and a bachelor’s degree in finance, all from Loyola University Maryland. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).   

Cheryl Wojciechowski, VP-Chapter Advisory

Cheryl has over 25 years of experience serving the insurance industry with substantial experience in statutory and reinsurance reporting and has done extensive work on system implementation projects.  Cheryl is an 8-year member of the IASA Michigan Chapter Board, currently serving as Vice President for the Chapter. 

Darin Reffitt, VP-e-Learning

Darin is Director of Product Marketing Excellence with Guidewire Software. His career has included insurance-focused roles with SPLICE Software, EIS Group, BNY Mellon, and PNC Bank. He began volunteering with IASA at the national level in 2012, and currently serves as VP of e-Learning; he also serves as VP-Exhibits of IASA’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Ursinus College and his MBA in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University. He volunteers regularly with other organizations, reads voraciously, speaks occasionally on technology, social media, networking, and personal branding; and golfs, albeit poorly.

Ryan Hanson, VP-Education

Ryan has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry holding financial accounting management positions with Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC), a leader in the U.S. housing finance industry.  Prior to MGIC, he gained broader insurance industry experience while with the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.  Ryan obtained his CPA and CGMA after earning his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Eau Claire University.  Beyond MGIC, he serves as a Board member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Council representative of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Board member and volunteer with other professional and nonprofit organizations, including the IASA.  Ryan resides in Brookfield, Wisconsin with his wife and two children.

Haley Bourke, VP-Executive Education

Haley Bourke has been a volunteer with IASA since 2018 and has supported the Marketing and Executive Education committees for previous conferences. She works as a Sr. Scrum Master in Small Commercial Technology Delivery & Execution at The Hartford. She enjoys baking, gardening, and being outdoors whenever possible. Haley resides in Farmington, CT with her Fiancé and rescue dog, Pippa.  

Margo Andersen, VP-Marketing

Margo Andersen is the Marketing Director for Larson & Company, a full-service CPA firm specializing in the insurance industry. Margo graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a PR emphasis. Her expertise includes trade show and event design, social media communications, website management and design, proposal writing, and strategic marketing planning. She has worked in the marketing department for a regional book publishing company for four years. Margo spent 15 years as the CFO of the Andersen family before reentering the workforce. She is a top-notch gluten free cook and loves to hike in the desert with her family.  

Scott Bowen, VP-Membership

Scott has 30+ years of experience in the insurance accounting field and today is the AVP of Regulatory Compliance for the IAT Insurance Group.  Scott started his career in the Buffalo, NY office of KPMG and has held officer level positions at other insurance carriers located in the New York City region.  Scott and his husband split their time between their homes in Manhattan, NY and East Hampton, NY.
Scott has been a National IASA Volunteer since 2014 and has been active on the e-learning committee and was previously the VP of Publications. 

Terry Olejnik, VP-Volunteer Development

As a lead partner in Plante Moran’s insurance services group, I offer assurance, tax, and consulting assistance to property and casualty and health insurers, self-insurance pools, and domestic- and foreign-domiciled captive insurance companies. Clients appreciate my deep industry knowledge because it helps them make informed decisions. And my no-nonsense approach means no surprises, timely responses, and a high-quality product.  Around the office, colleagues know me not only for my industry expertise, but also as a mentor and coach. I enjoy learning about people and sharing my experiences. I love mentoring and coaching people to help them achieve success. This passion brought me to the IASA as a member of Volunteer Development from the day I joined the organization.  I was Director of Recruitment and Placement and have been Director of Leadership Development for the past 2 years.  I absolutely love helping our volunteers contribute to the IASA!  Outside the workplace, I live an active life. My daughters keep me very busy with golf, dance, gymnastics, and school activities. I thoroughly enjoy traveling with my family. I also like working out, cycling and reading.  Fun fact: I love seeing new places, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures. I’ve traveled to three continents; visited more than 35 U.S. states; and been to 30+ countries, including 28 in Europe. I’ve even been glacier-climbing!
