Engagement Team

Chuck Gunkel is the Strategic Partnerships Director for IASA. Chuck joined IASA in March of 2015 as our Vice President of Business Development.  Prior to that, for 16 years he volunteered for IASA on a National level, led a variety of committees and was a sponsor and exhibitor at our Annual Conference.  Knowing IASA on many levels, who else would be better to be the leader in supporting growth across many areas in addition to taking on responsibilities related to event execution.  You can find Chuck working to grow the attendee base for our various events, chatting with our members and improving the exhibit booth and sponsorship sales process.

Gina Jolly
is the Operations Director for IASA. She has been with IASA for 36 years, gaining extensive knowledge of the day-to-day back office operations and processes across all areas of IASA during her tenure. Gina began her career at Home Security Life Insurance Company, joining IASA when there were only 3 staff members, supporting its growth in staff

and industry offerings.  Gina’s responsibilities include oversight of the national office, accounting and human resource functions, and exhibitor opportunities and activities for IASA events, and also providing additional support across a number of committees.  Gina enjoys creating excellent customer service experiences for IASA members and partners, creating a fun, team-oriented environment among staff and volunteers, and stretching her knowledge beyond her core day-to-day functions. Gina’s name has become synonymous with IASA and is evident in the long-lasting friendships built with IASA volunteers and staff, extending long after their service with IASA.

Gina lives in Durham, NC and was married for 34 years to the love of her life.  She has two daughters, Ashley and Kaitlyn, and two grandsons, Eli and Jayce and two dogs Sophie and Cali.  She loves taking care of her family, church, crafting and working in the yard.  Her favorite day of the year is visiting the nursery in the Spring and coming home with a truck full of plants.

Experience Team

Tricia Stillman is the Education Programs Director for IASA. She has been with IASA for 30 years, holding a variety of positions along the way and gaining a wide breadth of knowledge about IASA, it’s history and volunteers.  She started her career in the insurance industry, then made the jump to the association world with IASA, working for a year, leaving for three and then excited at the opportunity to return to IASA, having missed the smaller association experience, staff and friends made at IASA.  Tricia’s primary responsibilities include coordination of national educational programs for in-person, virtual and on-line offerings, national volunteer support and back office technology. She is a member of the Education, ACPC, eLearning, Executive Education and Volunteer Development Committees.  What she loves most about working at IASA:  the positive, “can do” team she works with, the continual opportunities to learn and participate in new IASA offerings, and just as importantly, the long term relationships she’s cultivated with staff and volunteers she’s had the pleasure to work with for the last 30 years.

Tricia lives in Wake Forest, NC, with her husband Warren and dachshund, Izzy. She is a fierce animal lover, enjoys reading, crafting and acrylic painting. She and Warren have three children, Ethan, Brandy and Ashley.

Parshy Phillips
is the Marketing & Communications Director for IASA. She has over 20+ years in innovative marketing, branding, and sales strategies that helped grow associations, food manufacturers, and medical device companies. Her love for marketing comes from a hands-on approach in brand building to ultimately increase revenue, drive brand awareness, and solidify customer and membership relationships.  She works closely with the tight-knit IASA staff to develop new tools and programs for these important areas of IASA. When not working, Parshy loves to go camping and explore new areas with her family on a whim. Over this past year, she has developed a love for DIYing everything and sparking joy in her home when playing her music extremely loud. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing.

Parshy lives in sunny California, with her family and two co-working dogs, Honey and Sweetie. She looks towards the future with a long awaited trip rediscovering Europe and attending outdoor concerts!
