Engagement Team

Chuck Gunkel is the Strategic Partnerships Director for IASA. Chuck joined IASA in March of 2015 as our Vice President of Business Development. Prior to that, for 16 years he volunteered for IASA on a National level, led a variety of committees and was a sponsor and exhibitor at our Annual Conference. Knowing IASA on many levels, who else would be better to be the leader in supporting growth across many areas in addition to taking on responsibilities related to event execution. You can find Chuck working to grow the attendee base for our various events, chatting with our members and improving the exhibit booth and sponsorship sales process.

Gina Jolly is the Operations Director for IASA. She has been with IASA for 36 years, gaining extensive knowledge of the day-to-day back office operations and processes across all areas of IASA during her tenure. Gina began her career at Home Security Life Insurance Company, joining IASA when there were only 3 staff members, supporting its growth in staff
and industry offerings. Gina’s responsibilities include oversight of the national office, accounting and human resource functions, and exhibitor opportunities and activities for IASA events, and also providing additional support across a number of committees. Gina enjoys creating excellent customer service experiences for IASA members and partners, creating a fun, team-oriented environment among staff and volunteers, and stretching her knowledge beyond her core day-to-day functions. Gina’s name has become synonymous with IASA and is evident in the long-lasting friendships built with IASA volunteers and staff, extending long after their service with IASA.
Gina lives in Durham, NC and was married for 34 years to the love of her life. She has two daughters, Ashley and Kaitlyn, and two grandsons, Eli and Jayce and two dogs Sophie and Cali. She loves taking care of her family, church, crafting and working in the yard. Her favorite day of the year is visiting the nursery in the Spring and coming home with a truck full of plants.

In her free time, she likes to craft, draw, cultivate the weeds in her garden, embark on new (semi-successful) culinary adventures, and travel to new and exotic places with her husband.
