About
Jeremy Harpold is a Senior Information Security Analyst at Farm Bureau Financial Services, where he specializes in incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics. In his role, he investigates suspicious activity, analyzes emerging cyber threats, and helps organizations detect and respond to attacks before they cause significant impact.

Jeremy has over 15 years of experience in information systems security, with expertise in threat detection, vulnerability management, identity and access management, security operations, and enterprise risk management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security from American Military University and maintains the CompTIA Security+ certification.

Prior to his work in the private sector, Jeremy served 25 years in the Iowa Army National Guard, retiring as a Master Sergeant. During his military career he supported incident response and hazard prediction modeling for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear events, helping federal, state, and local responders plan for and respond to complex emergencies. His training includes extensive coursework in cybersecurity, network administration, crisis response, and information technology operations.

Jeremy regularly works with both technical and non-technical audiences to translate complex cybersecurity threats into practical strategies organizations can use to protect sensitive information and reduce risk.
