Virginia “Genny” Dunaway, FCAS, MAA is Head of Actuarial at Juniper Re, where she leads a dynamic team focused on delivering advanced analytics and strategic consulting to help clients manage risk, optimize reinsurance structures, and achieve long-term success. She joined Juniper Re in February 2024 and works remotely from Lake Wylie, SC. Genny brings over 18 years of industry experience across reserving and treaty pricing for various lines of business.
Before joining Juniper Re, Genny spent her career at Aon in multiple roles. Most recently, she served as a Managing Director on the Reinsurance Solutions team, providing strategic actuarial analytics and collaborating closely with brokers to support clients in optimizing their reinsurance programs. Prior to that, she spent 13 years as an actuarial consultant on Aon’s Commercial Risk team, delivering reserve opinions and analytical support to self-insured and captive clients.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Towson University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
