Michelle has more than 15 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, and internal control over financial reporting, specifically within the financial services industry including the insurance, banking, and asset management sectors. Her areas of experience include SOX/MAR compliance, risk management, internal control testing, COSO 2013 framework evaluations and performing all aspects of operational and financial audits including professional practices for financial service companies. She has led co-source/out-source arrangements, staff augmentation internal audit engagements within the insurance industry. She also has experience with managing the implementation of an internal control framework for an insurance company spin off.
