About
Janice Nieman, MBA, CPCU, ARe, is the Senior Manager,
Research and Product Development, at AmericanAg®.
In this role, she is responsible for researching emerging
exposures, identifying potential product opportunities,
analyzing competitor data, and providing actionable insights
to support AmericanAg®’s Farm Bureau® insurance company
clients. Prior to joining AmericanAg® in 2015, Janice worked
at the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS)
for 25 years in the areas of product development and data
analytics, and two years in the quantitative research and
analytics unit at Allstate. She earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northern Illinois
University.
