The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) presents the 2018 Technology Innovation Award. - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 17th!

Durham, NC – October 4, 2017 – IASA is pleased to announce submissions are now being accepted for the 2018 Technology Innovation Award.  The Technology Innovation Award is designed to honor companies demonstrating the most innovative use of technology at an insurance company.  Applicants should be an insurance company with an innovative project newly in production or implemented between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.  Submissions can be made by insurance companies, technology vendors or other interested parties.  
Submissions can be made by downloading the submission form and submitting it via email to, or sending it via physical mail to the IASA International Office, Attn:  Gina Jolly/Technology Innovation Award, P.O. Box 51340, Durham, NC  27717.  
Once again, a peer judging component will be used in the final selection process.  The projects submitted for consideration will initially be judged by a distinguished panel of consultants, analysts, media and insurance company personnel.  The panel will select the finalists to be named in December 2017.  

Additionally, the winner(s) of the 2018 Technology Innovation Award will be presented with a plaque at the 2018 IASA Annual Conference & Business Show.  Finalists will receive the opportunity to present their project in a peer forum at the 2018 IASA Spring Planning meeting. The IASA Board, Management team and meeting attendees will participate in the selection of the winner of the award.   The winner will be recognized at the 2018 IASA Annual Conference & Business Show.  

The project will be highlighted in multiple press releases which will be distributed to insurance industry trade magazines for potential publication and further industry recognition.   Winning companies will also receive one (1) complimentary full conference registration for the 2018 IASA Annual Educational Conference & Business Show.
