Knowledge Resource Volunteers Needed!

Description: 
Individuals with industry experience and expertise in the following areas to serve as graders of submissions for annual conference session content and content for various distribution channels through IASA's 365 Call for Content portal.  Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

Responsibilities:
Review and grade Call for Content submissions for topic relevance/interest to the industry and final selection by the Education Committee using grading software. Training for software will be provided.
 
Duration of Project Needs:
365 and Xchange lite virtual event Call for Content Portal: Ongoing/Periodic
Xchange In-Person/Virtual Conference: Grading training: 4/26/2021, Grading period: 5/5/2021 - 5/12/2021

Grading Turnaround time:
One week

Time of Commitment:
Varies based upon number of submissions, Approximately 1 - 3 hours

Number of Volunteers Needed:
Unlimited

Type of communication Required (phone, video calls, F2F):
Email, Computer with internet connection to access grading software

Desired/Required Skill Set: 
Ability to access software, review Call for Content session information and evaluate session based upon industry relevance and Knowledge Resource Volunteer's content expertise.

Volunteer Project:
Pilot Testers Needed!

Description: 
Volunteers to Pilot Test IASA Xchange lite sessions from the March 22-23, 2021 event for on-demand offering with CPE in the eLearning Center.
Volunteers may Pilot Test more than one session and are eligible for CPE credit! Individuals involved in development or delivery of a session cannot be used to Pilot Test that session.

Responsibilities:
Review on-demand version of session, complete post event survey, document time to complete both via Pilot Testing form.
 
Duration of Project Needs:
Project runs between approximately April 5th - 14th.

Turnaround time:
7 days

Time of Commitment per session:
Only the time required to view session and complete survey.

Number of Volunteers Needed:
54 Pilots Tests needed (3 per session offering CPE), Volunteers may test more than one session.

Volunteer Project:
Committee Volunteers Needed!

Description: 
Volunteers to fill committee positions on active committees from November 1 - June 30, 2021.  Committee rotations run annually on a fiscal year calendar.  Current active committees include Women in Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, Annual Conference Program (ACPC), Chapter Advisory, Education, Executive Education, e-Learning, Insurance Accounting-Risk Management-Finance Program, Professional Development Program, Technology Program and Volunteer Development.

Responsibilities:
Participation in periodic committee calls (Zoom meetings) and engagement in committee projects/tasks.
 
Duration of Project Needs:
Projects determined by committee chair depending upon current year committee goals/objectives.

Turnaround time:
Determined by the committee project.

Time of Commitment:
Now through June 30th.  Option to continue for next year is open for engaged volunteers.

Number of Volunteers Needed:
Open

Type of communication Required (phone, video calls, F2F):
Email, Periodic Zoom meetings, Computer with internet connection

Desired/Required Skill Set: 
Willingness to engage in committee calls and projects as determined by the committee.
