Social Media Tip of the Month

Consider introducing your new employees via your social media accounts, with their permission of course. It can make your new employee feel valued and help you gain brand recognition. You can include a headshot and any education or business experience that make them a great fit in their new position.
 
Look to your company’s social media policy. Do you mostly post on LinkedIn or have you found ways to promote your business on Facebook and Twitter? Wherever you decide to post,  make sure to have your new employee read over a draft to ensure that you have captured accurate facts and that they are comfortable with what you want to share. Remember, not everyone likes public recognition so make sure to let them know it is ok to opt out.
