What was the first IASA Chapter event you attended and what was your biggest take-away?
My first event was the Indiana Chapter Meeting in May 2018. I thought it was a well-attended event in a great facility and really enjoyed the networking event after the meeting.
You just scratched $100k winning lottery ticket…what are you doing this weekend?
I would book a family vacation to Australia.
Do you volunteer for any other organization other than IASA? If so, which organization and why?
I also volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America because I enjoyed my scouting experience as a youth and enjoy spending time outdoors.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Boiler Gold – I’m a big Purdue fan.
Who is your biggest influencer and why?
My biggest influencer was my father because of his work ethic and sense of humor.
What would you say to a colleague, or even a peer at another company, who has never attended an IASA Chapter event about getting involved?
I would encourage them to attend an event as a way to network with great people within the industry.
Each chapter is different – what defines yours?
Our chapter is defined by volunteers who have a great passion for the organization.
What is the biggest change in the insurance industry that had the greatest impact to your career?
As a CPA, keeping up with accounting changes on an annual basis is the biggest challenge.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
I have four year old boy and a two year old girl who always say something to make me laugh each day.
New Orleans, Nashville, or Napa? You can only pick one, where are you going and why?
New Orleans – Drew Brees, Boilermaker
