Carlos Correa, Chairman of the Board 

Carlos Correa is currently Vice President – Everest Technology Services for Everest Reinsurance Company in Liberty Corner, NJ. Carlos previously served as Vice President for The New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal and Vice President and Head of Technology for the United States and Latin American region of Liberty International Underwriters (LIU). He was with LIU for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Villanova University with his Masters from Boston University. He has been a senior volunteer for IASA and management team member holding positions as Technology Education Director, Vice President of Business Show, CIO, CFO and President-Elect over the years and most recently served as President.

Laurie Macklosky, President

Laurie Macklosky is AVP of Execution at The Hartford and has a proven track record in successful execution of large scale multi-year, multi-million dollar projects and programs using expertise in various methodologies (Agile/Lean/SAFe, Waterfall/Incremental).  Laurie was most recently 2nd Vice President and Execution Lead for Business Insurance at Travelers and her previous roles have included organizational redesign and competency build. Laurie has been an IASA volunteer for over 10 years, most recently holding the positions of VP of Executive Education and CIO. She lives in Bristol CT with her husband, Rick and two children.


Scott McEntee, President-Elect

Scott is currently Senior Vice President of Accounting and Assistant Treasurer at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa, the 4th largest crop insurance company in the nation.  He is responsible for the accounting and reporting functions as well as Enterprise Risk Management programs for the Farmers Mutual Hail Group of Companies. He is a national and local speaker on the topic of ERM for insurance companies.  Prior to joining FMH Scott was the Director of Statutory reporting for the US operations of Aviva USA. Scott has over 30 years of experience in P&C, life, managed care, and banking industries. He has held various leadership positions throughout his career and with the IASA’s Midwest Chapter; he has been a national volunteer for 6 years. Scott sits on the Board of Directors of Iowa’s “Global Insurance Accelerator” and is also a mentor to startup companies and entrepreneurs participating in the program. Scott has served as VP-Membership, VP-Publications and most recently CFO for IASA.  Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and has numerous designations from the Insurance Institute of America. Scott lives in Grimes, Iowa with his wife Sue, and 3 sons.

Beech Turner, Secretary

Beech Turner joined Assurant Inc. in February, 2010. Beech has over 21 years’ experience in the Insurance Accounting industry holding financial management positions with Meadowbrook Insurance Group and Builders Insurance Group before joining Assurant. Beech’s current position as Vice President, Finance includes the role of Treasurer on three property and casualty Insurance companies, GAAP financial reporting, including reinsurance accounting and supports business growth initiatives. Beech holds a Finance degree from Davenport University and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He has volunteered for the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) since 2002 participating on various committees.  Beech most recently served as Chairman of the Board. Beech and his family currently reside in Atlanta where they moved from Michigan in 2003.



Jason Nickles,Treasurer

Jason Nickles is currently an AVP and Assistant CViceontroller for Western & Southern Financial Group in Cincinnati, OH. Jason has volunteered at his local chapter since 2007 and has served as President. Jason has previously served as a member of the Membership and Chapter Advisory Committees as well as Co-Chair of the Volunteer Development Mentoring Program and Chair of the Insurance Accounting, Risk Management and Finance Education Program Committee. Most recently he served as VP-Volunteer Development, VP-e-Learning and CIO. He has a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio. Jason lives in Cincinnati with his wife Emily and his daughter Addison. 

Annette Devine, Member-At-Large

Annette Devine serves as the Vice President, Accounting Services for WoodmenLife.  In this role she is responsible for all aspects of the company’s finance function including accounting, financial statement, tax, budgeting, payroll, purchasing and payment processing.  Prior to serving as Vice President, Devine was the Director, Tax Compliance and Payroll at WoodmenLife from 2003-2007.  In this role she managed all aspects of Tax and Payroll.  Prior to this role she served various other management and non-management roles at WoodmenLife over 36 years of service.  She is the Chairman of the Board for the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA), Past President for Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA Omaha Chapter), Board Member for Insurance Accounting Systems Association (IASA), Board Member for Omaha Community Playhouse, Treasurer for WoodmenLife Outreach Foundation, Treasurer for Woodmen Insurance Agency (WIA), and Treasurer for WFS Holdings, Inc.  In addition, she has held the Director of Membership and President positions for AFWA, Chairman for Buena Vista CB Alumni, and Chairman for the Supervisory Committee of Woodmen Federal Credit Union.  Annette holds a bachelor’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) with accounting emphasis from Buena Vista in Storm Lake, IA and holds her FLMI, ALMI and ACS designations.  Born and raised in Iowa, Annette still resides there with her husband Dennis, daughter Callie, 3 dogs, 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.  In her spare time, Annette loves to read and spend time with her family.

Margaret Horn, Member-At-Large

Margaret Horn is currently Vice President of Statutory Reporting for Everest Reinsurance Company in Liberty Corner, NJ, where she has worked since 2011. She also serves as co-chair of Everest's Charitable Outreach Committee.  Prior to joining Everest, Margaret was with Prudential Financial in various departments and positions for over 20 years, and High Point Insurance as Comptroller for 3 years. She currently sits on the IASA Board of Directors as a Board Member at Large, and serves as Treasurer on the Board of IASA’s Metro NY/NJ Chapter, where she has volunteered since 2005. Prior volunteer roles with IASA include 2 years serving as Vice President of the Business Show, and two years as President of the Metro NY/NJ Chapter. She is a certified public accountant (CPA), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Margaret lives in New Jersey with her husband Steve, and their youngest of two daughters.

Phil Iaccarino, Member-At-Large

Phil is currently Director, Product Marketing for Guidewire.  He has served as an IASA volunteer for several years on the Exhibits Committee, Executive Education Committee and as Chair of the Solution Provider Committee.  For 2019-2020 Phil will continue to serve as Board Member At Large.

Doug Ramsey, Member-At-Large

Doug Ramsey is a Vice President at Travelers, Personal Insurance - Technology, accountable for the strategic delivery of distribution and customer business capabilities, as well as leading a shared services organization. Doug has been with Travelers since 2010. Prior to Travelers, Doug spent nine years at Accenture, a global technology consulting firm. Doug holds a M.S. in Software Development and Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a B.S. in Computer Science from Providence College. Doug has been a national IASA volunteer since 2014, serving on several committees and as an IASA Management Team member. Doug resides in Connecticut with his wife and twin boys.

Ann Wiesler, Member-At-Large  

Ann is a Managing Director at Cardinal Investment Advisors, LLC.  Cardinal is a boutique consulting firm primarily advising insurance companies, pension funds, foundations, endowments and healthcare institutions on the creation, implementation and monitoring of investment strategy.  Ann’s primary responsibility for Cardinal is serving several clients as their consultant.  Before joining Cardinal in 2007, Ann worked in the accounting departments at Verizon and State Street.  She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Truman State University and an MBA from Webster University.  Ann started volunteering with IASA over ten years ago with her local chapter and then joined the National level where she has served as VP of Chapters and VP of Membership.

Kerry Crockett, CEO

Kerry Crockett is the CEO of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association, Inc.  She has previously served as the Executive Director for the US and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Society for Pediatric Pathology and the Society for Hematopathology where she guided strategic plans to success, assisted in product development and launched new programs that assisted pathologists in underserved countries. Kerry has served on numerous city client advisory boards, task forces and the PCMA Board of Directors. She is a Certified Association Executive, a Certified Meeting Professional, and a Digital Event Strategist.  Kerry holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  Kerry is an avid animal lover and humane society volunteer in Georgia where she lives with her wonderful husband, William and two rescue pups, Bella and Cora.
