Biography
About
Scott Johnson is a seasoned insurance and risk management professional with extensive insurance experience on both the carrier and agency sides. As a leader with Leavitt Group, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerages, Scott helps Leavitt agencies navigate complex risk landscapes and build effective leadership and insurance operations strategies. Prior to Leavitt Group, Scott spent over 16 years at WCF Insurance in a variety of positions.
In addition to his work with Leavitt Group, Scott serves as a Dean's Executive in Residence at Utah Valley University in the Finance & Economics department, teaching in the Risk Management & Insurance program since 2024.
Scott holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. Scott is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
