Rick Woods, CPA Partner, Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC Tax Services KY-7197 As a Partner in Cherry Bekaert's Tax Services practice, Rick brings over 25 years of experience in public accounting. His focus areas lie in business and individual tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners. He focuses on C corporation/shareholder issues, consolidated multistate tax returns, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and S corporation issues, and real estate matters. In his role, Rick is passionate about helping closely held companies and their owners navigate the everevolving tax environment and the challenges that come with applying income tax rules to business transactions. He has experience working with clients in manufacturing and distribution, financial services (e.g., banking and insurance companies), and other various industries. His focus at Cherry Bekaert is within the industrial manufacturing industry. Prior to joining our team, Rick was a Partner at a large Midwest regional accounting and advisory firm where he led the Federal Tax Group. He gained five years of tax experience at a Big Four firm in his early years.
