SUBMISSION PROCESS

SUBMISSION PROCESS

The new submission process has been streamlined to improve the speaker experience. Please be sure to have all required information ready before you submit. You do have the ability to save your in-progress session submittal and come back later before the closing deadline to complete it — without losing your draft content. Please note — sessions will only be considered if complete and completed online. Email submissions will not be accepted.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE SUBSMISSION PROCESS:

  • Proposals must have title, description, three (3) learning objectives beginning with “Define, Differentiate, Identify or Recognize.”
  • Proposals must have at least one confirmed presenter listed with all required speaker fields (name, title, company, bio, email address) to be considered.
  • If your proposal is accepted, speaker agreements must be completed within two (2) weeks of acceptance to be confirmed for presenting at IASA Xchange™ or OnPOINT
  • If your proposal is accepted, any additional speakers must be added within two (2) weeks and speaker agreements completed within two (2) weeks of being added to be confirmed for presenting at IASA Xchange™ or OnPOINT
All proposals must be received by EOD November 7. 2022.
Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent in late November.

The submission process includes an external form to collect information on speakers’ previous speaking experience.  If you are a presenter for the proposal you are submitting, please complete via the link in the information page and provide this link to all other providers listed in your session proposal.

The link will be included in your proposal confirmation email for sharing with other presenters.

IASA seeks proposals that appeal to all types of learners. In order to have the best educational experience for the participants in your session, IASA prefers more engaging sessions (panels, workshops, interactive sessions) as opposed to lecture-based content.  Some possibilities include:

Problem-solving – speakers post a problem and lead attendees through exercises to develop solutions

Experimental/Case Study – speakers review a case study and lessons learned

Interactive Presentations and Group Discussions

Proposals will be accepted until the submission period closes. Late submissions will not be accepted. All information is required (summary, learning objectives, bio, etc.) for a submission to be considered accepted and submitted to the review committee for approval. Emailed submissions will not be accepted.

All proposals must be received by EOD November 7, 2022.
Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent in late November.

The selection process is highly competitive. Proposals will be evaluated using the following selection criteria:

Overall quality of submission content

Well-defined educational objectives

Relevancy of content to the industry

Presentation skill and experience of the proposed speaker(s)

Topic and content applicability to a broad audience

The educational component of IASA events seeks to educate its audience on relevant subjects. Please refrain from promotional references. Promotional references are strictly prohibited.

If your proposal is accepted, an invitation to participate will be sent to you with additional details. Additional requirements and registration information will be provided to all speakers upon acceptance.

Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent in late November.
