The IASA Advisory Board is a group of volunteer leaders who help IASA make strategic decisions by providing expert knowledge and guidance. The Advisory Board provides valuable insight and feedback on strategic direction while expanding IASA’s network and promoting IASA in the insurance and risk management community.

Doug has been VP of Technology with Travelers since 2010. Prior to Travelers, Doug spent nearly 10 years at Accenture. His 20+ years of business and technology experience includes large-scale delivery management and hands-on software engineering of strategic business capabilities through technology innovation. Doug has served on multiple not-for-profit boards and has supported IASA for more than 10 years.

As Head of the Operational Risk Program at Securian Financial Group, a Fortune 500 financial services firm, Rod is responsible for leading strategy for all Operational Risk program elements and enabling risk-informed decisions across the company. Rod has volunteered with the IASA, industry and community organizations for over 20 years.

Jason Nickles, CPA, AVP, has served as a volunteer leader with IASA for more than 15 years. At Western & Southern Financial Group, Jason is responsible for the organization’s technical accounting function, investment accounting, and financial analysis. He holds a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed CPA in Ohio.
