Each year, IASA recognizes those individuals or companies who have positively impacted the insurance industry through recognition.

This year, we introduce three new awards to the membership and request nominations for deserving individuals and/or companies. Nominations will be reviewed by the Awards Committee and announced at our annual Business Meeting during IASA Xchange™ to be held this year in Baltimore, Md.

Below is a list of the awards to be presented.  Self-nominations are permitted. Previous winners are not eligible for a second nomination. Please check the list of previous winners below prior to making your nomination.

Current Awards

IASA’s Carrier of the Year Award is given to an individual that is affiliated with a Carrier Member Company, or to a Carrier Member Company, that demonstrates professional excellence in all business interactions, executes solutions to business-related challenges, and values and respects carrier/solution provider relationships.

IASA’s Solution Provider of the Year Award is given to an individual affiliated with a Solution Provider Company or their company that demonstrates professional excellence in all business interactions, partners with clients to create solutions to business-related challenges, and promotes carrier/solution provider relations.

This award celebrates the efforts and accomplishments of insurance industry professionals who work to promote a more diverse workforce. Awardees will be individuals or entities/companies who have demonstrated a commitment to practicing DE&I principles in their initiatives and practices.

IASA volunteers play an important role in driving initiatives in support of our mission and vision. To recognize the efforts of our outstanding volunteer leaders, we solicit nominations from our membership annually with a goal of recognizing a member who has made significant contributions to the IASA Community through their volunteer leadership. Nominations may be submitted by any member of the IASA community. Voting for this award will be reserved for active volunteers.  Self-nominations are accepted.

The highest honor that the IASA Board Chair bestows each year at IASA Xchange™ to an individual or an organization for their unique achievements or contributions to IASA or the insurance industry in the previous year.

IASA Chapters provide our member community with exceptional value through their education, networking, and professional development opportunities.  In recognition of our chapter’s efforts to continuously drive value and professionalism, IASA will recognize Chapters that, even in the most challenging times, demonstrated a commitment to provide unwavering professional support to the IASA membership.

Chapter awardees will be selected by the IASA Awards Committee. Selection will be based on key chapter performance criteria that align with IASA Chapter Engagement Strategy.
