Position Statement

I am running for the IASA Advisory Board Secretary because I have a heart and passion for people & education in the Insurance Industry and specifically the IASA. I have been a volunteer of the IASA for 10 years and held a variety of leadership roles including Leadership Development, Volunteer Development, Women in Leadership and most recently on the Advisory Board. With each of these opportunities I have grown in my career and expand my network within the industry and my goal is to ensure IASA is creating that space for like-minded individuals to connect & build their career.

Education is at the core of what the IASA is and keeping this at the forefront as we leverage the affiliation with The Institutes will be the key to a solid organization of the future. The focus will be on reframing and establishing the building blocks to ensure longevity of the IASA.

As a leader I bring passion & energy along with collaboration. My goal as Chair is to encourage active participation from the Board, while making the strategic decisions needed to keep moving forward. I will make the mission and goals of the IASA my focus and collaborate with The Institutes and within the organization to achieve results.

Bringing together my past volunteer leadership experience with current Advisory Board experience and my passion on leveraging the Affiliation with the Institutes within our educational offerings into the future is what makes me a great candidate for the IASA Board Chair Elect.
